The overall goal for the Global Expansion Inc. International Marketing Internship Program will be to assist students in acquiring experience in the fields of international marketing, social media, content marketing, marketing automation and website analytics on a global scale. This position will report to the CEO. 


Although this is an unpaid internship, bonuses, commissions can be earned 


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update company LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google + company website pages/content to grow company's brand awareness around the world.
  • Help grow followers and engagement for each outlet
  • Update company website visitor statistics from Google Analytics
  • Research and create blog posts on company website
  • Research potential Strategic Partners around the world for company's other service offerings
  • Attend regular weekly staff meetings with employees and other interns around the world
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive data at all times
  • Other Marketing and research duties as assigned
  • Although this is an unpaid internship, bonuses, commissions can be earned 


Requirements

  • Working toward a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Marketing or International Business
  • Looking for students that wish to make marketing a career 
  • Knowledge of a second language and world travel a plus 
  • MUST be an expert in Microsoft Office Products specifically Word, Excel, Outlook 
  • Working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, 
  • Moderate level of knowledge using LinkedIn (by end of internship you will be an expert) 
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools a plus (Hootsuite, Get Response, Mailchimp, Infusion Soft, Aweber, Hubspot, 
  • Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of search 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required 
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment 
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Self motivated 
  • This is a very challenging but very rewarding position 
  • A willingness to learn
